Saint Hripsime Church
Saint Hripsime Church is the largest single-nave church in Armenia. The length of the church is 27.3 m, the length of the hall from the inside is 23.65 m, the width of the eaves is 5.65 m, and the width of the retaining walls is 3.45 m. The church has been completely preserved. There are pentagonal arched alcoves on the longitudinal walls of the hall with strict symmetry. In the east, it ends with a semicircular tabernacle inside and outside. The church has two entrances: south and west. A slightly damaged sundial has been preserved on the southwest front wall of the church.

About Saint Hripsime Church
Verishen or (Dzagadzor) Saint Hripsime Church is considered one of the structures of early medieval Armenian architecture, which is considered one of the remarkable monuments of the Syunik school. It is built with rough basalt. Fragments of the previous structure of the 4th-5th centuries were also used in the lining of the walls. According to the inscription, it becomes clear that the church was renovated in the 17th century, the following inscription can be seen on the stone of the church door.
