Tolors Saint Hripsime church

The reservoir is located in the RA Syunik region, at the confluence of the Sisian and Ayr rivers, 3 km south of the city of Sisian, at an altitude of about 1650 m. It was put into operation in 1976. St. Hripsime Church in the Tolors Reservoir is one of the few that is out of the water 1-2 months of the year, and the rest of the time it is under water, as the water level of the reservoir rises after heavy precipitation.
